I've been shooting professionally for around six years. I have held an assistant photographer at Meramac community college and I am currently the photographer for Laughing Penguins PhotoBooth Studio.
I love organic and human forms, nature and natural looking photos but I am also very interested in the "out of the ordinary" studio work. I am trying to establish myself in the photography community as someone who can shoot, and post process anything my clients might need.
I have been a home cook for years, and have always focused on finding the best local ingredients possible. My love of cooking food has really led me onto photographing it. I wanted a way to document what I cooked, Photography has always been a big passion, and so too has food - so it made sense to combine both! I am looking to help start a strong movement of local farmers and restaurants in the Missouri areas, and get the St. Louis area more involved with local and sustainable foods. I am working on a book of growers, farmers, restaurants and the beautiful food that they make.
